Based in Hampshire, and originally founded in 1973 as a model plane, car racing and then boating club too. Firebirds soon moved to its present form as a pure aeromodelling club.

Firebirds has a keen community of both electric and IC fixed wing flyers, with many members flying both disciplines. It allows small, electric helis to be flown, although this is not the main interest of the club and fixed wing takes precedence.

We're a friendly club and love to meet new people. We recommend that the best way to contact us is by coming to the flying site and talk to some of our members.
